This course covers public policy and estate planning, intestacy, wills, probate and non-probate transfers, protection of spouses and children, trust administration and fiduciary duty, future interests, the rule against perpetuities, and briefly federal estate tax. When taught by certain professors, students completing the course earn one skills credit, once confirmed that the student has successfully completed the course's skills component.
