This course provides students with an overview of modern digital technologies and the legal doctrines most relevant to these industries. Students will obtain an overview of both networking technologies (the physical infrastructure of networks) and software applications that utilize networks. The course will also provide a specialized perspective on the intersection of these technologies with relevant aspects of intellectual property law, privacy law, cyberlaw, business law, and communications law. Enrollment is limited and preference is given to students who are working towards a Law, Technology, and Entrepreneurship Certificate.
